With many of our community’s young men and women serving overseas, the VFW provides a familiar place where they can meet and socialize with people who have had similar experiences. As with our WWII, Vietnam, Korean, and Gulf War veterans, today's military are welcome at VFW Post 1607. VFW Post 1607 members meet the third Sunday of each month at 2:00 pm.
Once
eligibility (Official VFW One-page Eligibility Sheet) has been established, joining is easy. Fill out and send us
the membership form located inside the Official VFW Membership Brochure, remembering to also enclose a copy of
your DD-214, service record page 4 with award, an LES with
imminent danger or hostile fire pay, or other proof of
eligibility.
New memberships and returning members must enclose $45.
